September 24 Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It is a beautiful sunny morning with the high of 66 and the low of 57 with a slight chance of rain.

DGS went down and pulled some soup from the freezer and put it in the crockpot. I didn't ask what kind as they are all good. I got some apples yesterday, finally are in, so with DGS's help will get them fixed so he can make baked apples later for dinner. Those will smell so good and will taste even better.

What will be your dinner tonight?

I am still being lazy today and really have not decided on my meal. I have left over soup and roast so I will probably toss some of one of those in the microwave to warm it up.

Pretty day. Low 70s low low humidity and sunny. Joe mowed, I got a load on the line early.
poor Joe has eaten chicken pie for days. I offered to make something else but he said he was gonna finish it made some spaghetti this eve & Banana bread & had peanut butter cookies. I've wiped out a gallon of chocolate ice cream since wed along with other soft stuff and gained 2 lbs LOL.

Rosie, I can’t keep ice cream in the house (or the garage freezer either) because I have absolutely no common sense when it comes to eating it. I just don’t know when to stop and I’ll eat it all. I’ve been working on losing some weight and I have lost some, so no ice cream for me, darn it.

It’s a beautiful day today for sure! I’ve been doing dusting and vacuuming this afternoon. Honestly, how is Abby not bald? It’s unreal how much she sheds. I still need to do some dusting but I’ll get to it in a bit. The guy that’s been doing my yard was going to come today but his mother popped up out of the blue so he’ll be here tomorrow. He’s a good guy, hard worker and we do have good conversations.

I was completely clueless about what to make for dinner, didn’t really want the usual kind of fare at all. I finally decided I’ll make an omelette with a little pesto, cream cheese, artichoke hearts and turkey bacon. I’ll toast an English muffin to go with it and have a nice big cold glass of tomato juice.

Charlene, I'm in same boat with ice cream. LOVE IT. I've lost 30 lbs so I'm not in a panic BUT I've got to cool it.
