September 27th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It was crazy yesterday the way the sun would be out, sky blue with white puffy clouds for about 5-10 minutes and then black as night with full on thunderstorm with pounding rain. It did that all day and last night into this morning. There is a 80% chance of the same weather pattern today with the high of 59 and the low of 47.

Dinner will be the roasted broccoli morphed into cream of broccoli and cheese soup and a salmon patty gracing the top of a salad.

It’s really a pretty day today, sunny and bright. I went up to a large Burlington gun store with my handgun that hasn’t been fired in years and got it oiled and cleaned and asked about firearms classes and they referred me to the large firing range not far from there. I signed up for a ladies self defense class next month that will include a refresher course on handling pistols. I used to be a really good shot but it’s been a long time since I’ve done it. I figure since I’m alone and will be traveling partially alone it wouldn’t hurt to be able to protect myself as well as possible. I also stopped at AAA and picked up some fresh maps.

I took a package of the chicken chile verde stuffed spaghetti squash I made awhile back out of the freezer and I’m going to have some cilantro rice with it.
