September 28th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

Another crazy day weather wise yesterday and the rain is still coming down this morning. The rain and wind should start tapering off as the day progresses with a high of 58 and the low of 46. It got so chilly out last night with the wind blowing so hard I would not have been surprised if it has turned into snow.

Sausage gravy over biscuits along with scrambled eggs and applesauce that I have cooking in the crockpot will be dinner. The house has the start of a wonderful aroma that will make the house smell so good all day.

Hoping to get out for a walk today, feeling trapped in this house with the weather being crappy for so long.
Dinner will be Alice Springs chicken, mashed potatoes and cauliflower

Here’s the post I forgot to post on Wednesday! I really thought I had done it that day, but I sure didn’t.

It’s been cool and kind of damp today. Light sprinkles on and off all day. I paid some bills this morning, paid off the other high balance credit card and it was amazing, it felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders. I’ll be able to handle everything else now without stress. I took my car in for service and a recall notice this afternoon and they weren’t able to finish it today. The recall is replacing the coil springs in the suspension. They gave me a loaner car, brand new Crosstrek that had 187 miles on it. It’s nice, but I noticed that it has a lot of tire noise because of the all-terrain-ish tires. I can’t say I like the keyless start and auto stop though. I’ll be keeping mine, thanks!

I stopped at Firehouse Subs on my way home and got the Firehouse “Hero” Sun and some BBQ potato chips. Yum!
