September 29th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

Here is hoping the rain will stay at bay today but there is a chance for more. The high will be a nippy 59 and the low of 44.

I am wanting chicken noodle soup so that will be dinner along with grilled cheese sandwiches and applesauce I made yesterday.

What will be your evening meal?

I have been on a cleaning spree this morning and nothing was safe. Even the dog got scrubbed. Insomnia sucks lol. I have a pot of chili going for dinner.

Yes, it does. I have been up since 4 this morning, 3 yesterday morning and am hoping for a decent night's sleep tonight. It also can make one feel a bit on the grouchy side. Just a little.

It's been a beautiful sunny day. High in mid 60s. I ordered 10 baby chicks from rural king. Austrolarup breed. Our fav chickens. I'm a bit worried bout them. They traveled last night and tonight to get to Greenville. It was in 30s last night and again tonight. They cant survive those temps. Praying whoever has them keeps them warm. Guess I'll know tomorrow. Ordered 1 rooster in hopes when I want more babies I can hatch some. I have an incubator. It's been a real pain to get live chicks this year.

Joe is having hamburger gravy/ mashed potatos and peas. I ate to much ice cream earlier so I will eat same later.

Yay!!! The sun was shining today, still pretty chilly but so nice to not have a wet, dreary day.
I cooked extra bacon yesterday when I did the Alice Springs chicken, so I will use that to top off a hash brown cheddar quiche for dinner, I made a small tossed salad to go along with it.

It’s been a beautiful day today, very pleasant. I got my car back this afternoon, the loaner was kind of gun but I’m not interested at all in replacing my car. I have just under 32K miles on it and it’s a 2015 and it runs perfectly. When I got back I had a long technician call with ADT. After I got off the phone I finally managed to get my doorbell camera working again, but I can’t reach the other 2 to do the reset on them. Joshua will be here Saturday and he’s about 6’2” so he’ll be able to take care of it for me. If we can’t get them reset, a tech will be out Tuesday. Problems like this irritate me.

I’m baking 2 chicken thighs that I rubbed with mesquite seasoning this morning and I’m having a baked sweet potato and asparagus with it.
