Good Morning!

What a beautiful sunny morning with the high of 58 and the low of 46.

I made chicken salad last night that we will have alongside tomato basil soup, salad and baked custard.

What is calling your name for dinner tonight?

I have leftovers I need to eat this evening. Mostly I plan to relax and do a bit of paperwork and hang with the dog.

It’s been a pretty nice day, some smoke in the air but otherwise OK. I did a quick grocery run this morning at Haggen in town. They FINALLY got on the Vons/Safeway/Albertson’s 4You rewards program and I’ve got my accounts all linked to it. My son Steve and I both use the rewards points for gas and now I can do more shopping if needed at Haggen. It’s only about 1/2 mile from me, good for quick pick up items.

I’m trying out a recipe for Greek Baked Ziti tonight and I’ll have a Caesar salad with it. I’m only making a half recipe, don’t need to eat it for 2 weeks!
