    September 17th Dinner Post

    Good Morning!

    It is overcast but I am seeing where the clouds are breaking up somewhat and see patches of blue sky. The high will be a cold 47 and the low of 36. It will be windy today making it feel colder and a good chance of rain this afternoon and tonight.

    This is a perfect day for vegetable beef soup, homemade bread and fried apples.

    What will be your Monday dinner?

      Guess I'm not so smart. I didn't notice and if I had eh so what. Everyone messes up sometimes.

        I didn't even catch that when I first had a look at CK this morning lol
        What a crappy, dark & dismal day, only good thing about it is, that it's not too cold, and lots of leaves are still on the tree's looking very pretty.
        I decided to make pork chops for dinner, browned with garlic/S&P, I dumped a can of cream of chicken soup over them and added sauteed mushroom/onion chunks. Thinking a side of rice will be nice with that, and I bought some nice looking brussels sprouts today​

        well DUH......I posted this in the other one ltb...hahaha...just copied & pasted it here

            It was somewhat cooler today, but still kind of smoky. There are a couple of big fires in the eastern Skagit and Snohomish counties. It’s been kind of a lazy day today for me, so I’ve just been doing a bit of this and that around the house.

            I’m going to finish the last of the Mississippi chicken that I made and I’m going to have some rice and fruit with it.​

              I am not even ashamed to say that I went to Sams club and hubs and I got the $1.50 hot dog combo for dinner. It hit the spot. I made a pot of chicken stock today and dug out my canner. Going to can it all up tomorrow. I have about 10 lbs of buttr in the freezer. I might just can that up too so I can get the freezer empty.

                I really miss Sam’s Club! To the best of my knowledge there isn’t a single Sam’s in WA state, this is most definitely Costco country!
