    Good Morning!

And the beat goes on with a rain/snow mixture that should clear out overnight with the high of 44 and the low of 34. Yup, that is cold.

I had applesauce cooking overnight in the crockpot, so my house smells wonderful and that is sparking the idea of French toast with applesauce on it, sausage and rice pudding.

What will be your midweek dinner?
Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,
He drew a circle that shut me out.
But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

We had our first really warm day today. I heard it got to 25°C or 76°f and it was still warm enough to not need our heating. I've had the washing machine going all afternoon and now it's all ready to hang on the line in the morning. Forecast says it will be raining again on Friday so that gives me one day to get it dry. May have to go shopping in the next couple of days... John has lost a couple of sizes and nothing fits.

Dinner tonight was easy stuff: John had sausages, mashed potato and onion. I had spaghetti bolognaise.

It's been sunny today. The wind never slows. Was 29 this morning. Now 48. With the wind feels much colder. Another below freezing night then a warm up comes. Going to try to save some outside plants for next year. Hopefully I can get going and repot them. Been in a slump lately.
just made some goulash. Easy peasy.
Think I'll post the recipe in t&t. It's not like reg goulash. It's my MILs recipe and it's more like cheeseburger hamburger helper.

Rain and clouds, on warm-ish side, but we still have the 'beast in the basement' going to take some of the dampness out.
I just finished making a pasta dish...I sauteed onions/red pepper/mushrooms and threw in the rest of our tomatoes from the garden. Added some browned ground beef/garlic, and a jar of Classico sauce - Roasted garlic & onion flavour, then I added some cream and grated old cheddar + rotini. I bought a little baguette and made some garlic butter. Yummmmm!

I got bitten by a stinking toddler today. My 3 yr old grandson is so stuck up his moms rear end he didnt want her to leave. I was holding him back and the turkey bit me. Actually he bites everyone, not sure how shes going to break that. I made hot dogs tonight because I am tired. I did pick up a ton of large portabella mushrooms so I am trying to figure out what to stuff them with tomorrow.

I got bit by our grandson about a month ago! He loves to be outside, and was standing at the front door fussing to go out..he saw Papa go out and DS and wanted to go with them....I was trying to tell him, 'hang on, we're going out soon', then he turned around and bit me on the arm...I screamed and the little booger laughed! Geeze! I had bruising on arm for a few days after, he bit me thru my hoodie. He had only been in daycare a few weeks, and I wondered if it was something he picked from there? We told his parents that happened, and they were very surprised...said the daycare giver had not mentioned any biting issues. How the heck do you deal with that when they are so young? Not react? Obviously he thought my reaction was funny. He is 18 months old.

It’s been another smoky and hazy day today, looking forward to rain this weekend. Air quality is awful. I’ve had a headache today, could be my usual reaction to the COVID vaccine and some sinus problems. I got all my hazardous waste sorted out this afternoon and contacted Jeremy (my yard guy) about the full containers of products I will never use and he’ll pick those up in a few days. My sister called me this morning, she had seen the picture on FB that I posted showing my bin full of prepackaged Halloween candy and she really got a kick out of it. She was glad to hear I won’t be sitting behind drawn curtains and not answering the door. I was telling her we’d been very active in the community trick or treating since we moved here and that I’ve got holiday decor out there too.

I’m feeling kind of uninspired about dinner today. I finally decided I’m going to make a cheeseburger and have some fruit.

No, haven't had a dryer since we moved... I gave my dryer to Tiff. I'll get a new one when we move again and in the meantime, we have an excellent laundromat in town
