I am just checking in on how your DH is doing this morning. I also called some friends last night and asked for prayers for him and for you also. I know you are so worried but please take care of yourself. Seeing him in pain and feeling helpless is a rough road and I know you will be the best caregiver he can have.

Karen, I’m going to try to send you a picture on Messenger through Facebook. It’s what my knee looked like the day after surgery and the “invisible” bandage. Gotta say, it was kind of ugly!

Ralph had a really tough nite, not much sleep at all. I have been sleeping on the couch to give him lots of room in the bed. I've been sleeping with my hearing aid in so I can hear him if he calls or gets up. I must have been right out last nite as the bugger hobbled down to the bathroom and had a shower on his own!!!! I reamed him out this morning for doing this! I don't know if this is a side effect of the anesthetic, but he's been sweating a lot...he has no fever. So, I guess he just wanted to go freshen up and didn't want to bother me. Swelling and pain big time.
