October 29th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It is a beautiful sunny morning and will be all day. The high will be wonderful 63 and the low of 42. Picture perfect.

I am left at the curbside again and will be solo tonight so once more it will be an upscale meal with a sheet pan of a sweet potato, broccoli, onion and carrots, all of which need used up. It sounds good at the moment and healthy so it will be dinner.

It is such a pretty day! I must at least get out for a short time. DD and her hubs are up today, and will have a little BD celebration for her at the lake - bonfire and weenies, munchies and drinks.The cottage neighbours are up as well along with a group of friends, they will all get together I'm sure, I'll let the young ones do their thing, but I will venture down for a celebratory drink.
Today is the day that I will cook that chicken dinner for hubby and I!

It’s been a pretty fall day today. Rain is expected but not here yet. I had to do a bit of bathroom repair today, no big deal. The arm on the flush mechanism cracked so I took it out, put it in a bag and headed for Ace Hardware and got a new one. The hardest part of the install was attaching the clip to the arm but it’s working fine now. I made a quick grocery run, needed some zucchini and lemons and bread, also picked up a pill caddy for my trip to CA, I’m leaving on the 14th, back on the 29th.

I’m going to make a pot of meatball orzo soup. I haven’t had it in quite some time and the cool weather is a great time to have it.
