November 12th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It is a cloudy and rainy day with 2-4 inches of snow expected and the high of 40 and the low of 32. Dare I say it is just plain cold and winter is gearing up for the future?

I am moving into comfort food mode and right now that is stuffed peppers, rice, dinner rolls I will start later and chocolate pudding cake.

What will you be having?

It is a winter wonderland. Must say I do love the first snow. It's coming down quite heavy right now.
Stewed chicken thighs yesterday. Knowing it was going to snow today I thought chicken and noodles sounded like the perfect meal for a cold lazy day.

I can't wait for the snow lol!!!
We have our woodstove 'fired up' again, so we are ready for the colder temps, very cozy in here right now. I have a wonderful smelling candle burning, its called Roasted Pine Cones and it is quite suiting for the day/s ahead.
No dinner cooking for me today...we are headed out of town to celebrate SIL 65th BD. We will stick around to have some food and mingle a bit, hubby is having a bad knee day.

The cold and damp will make hubby's knee ache and be stiff. I feel for him as that is not a fun way being for someone that is as active as he is. Have fun and drive safe.

It’s been a gorgeous day today, fantastic views of everything; the mountains, the islands, just beautiful. I’ve been cleaning and dusting stuff, topped off the car with gas and made a quick grocery run for cookie supplies. I think I’ll get some of the stuff loaded in the car tonight.

I’m going to finish the other half of the Papa Murphy’s pizza for dinner tonight. I’ll just pop in into a nonstick skillet with a lid and heat it up, it always comes out great that way.
