    Good Morning!

I woke up hearing the pitter patter of tiny raindrops on the windows calling my name and knew it was a dark and rainy day in my future. The high will be 54 and the low of 38 with gusty winds as high as 35 MPH along with rain all day.

Beef and noodles, green beans and pickled beets will be dinner.

What will be your meal this Sunday?
Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,
He drew a circle that shut me out.
But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

I am a ball of cranky today and taking it out on everyone. Hormones are stupid. My dog was so annoying I took him for a walk so he would leave me alone. We walked 7 miles and I am so stiff, still cranky and the dog is still annoying.

We did a small Thanksgiving rerun. I made another turkey, mashed potatoes and a box of stove top.

First half of day was warm and a bit of sun, then clouded over and then the yucky rain...all our snow is gone now and everything looks gross.
Hubby was out in yard setting up a cute park-like Christmas setting - bench, decorated lamp post, lanterns - will look so much better with snow!
I pretty much finished the in house decorating today, one more area to do, but we are still drywalling/painting, so it will get finished up at week's end.
I cooked a little roast beef and tossed in potatoes, carrots, onions, sure smells good...almost ready now!
A balanced diet is a cookie in both hands

It’s been a pretty day, breezy and cool. I’ll be leaving in the morning to head back home, probably to rain and snow. I’m not too worried, Steve will be with me for the trip until we get to Seattle. I’m going to get the car loaded up tonight except for the few items I need in the morning. It’s been such a nice visit but I’m definitely ready to get back home again. I checked my surveillance cameras this afternoon and actually saw Mendi cruising my backyard.

We’re planning on eating out at a place called Paradise Cove right on the Kern River, then it’s back to load the car and go to be kind of early. Looooonnnng day tomorrow!
