December 1st Dinner Post

Good Morning!

Ick!! Dark, dreary and snow on the rooftops. The high of 35 and the low of 27. And the wind just keeps blowing and blowing.

Dinner will be leftover soup, sloppy joes and fruit.

What will be your dinner tonight?

I had to run to Menards this morning to get some dog treats because he is overly clingy today. My coat pocket got caught on the turn style and I fell over. My pride was greatly injured and now I have a headache, so it has been a great start to the morning. I then went to the butcher shop to get some dog bones just to ensure he will leave me alone for a few hours.

I put a pot roast in the smoker so at least I have something to look forward to tonight.

I hope no aches and pains develop and the headache goes away soon muz. Lay down after taking a couple aspirin maybe and you will feel better.

Snow!!!! all around! We went to babysit Kian today....got home early and I made my Speedies/taco thingys for dinner when we got home. Was going to get take out pizza on way home, but sadly that's a luxury for us now

It’s really cold today, the fur babies are staying close to me on soft warm blankets. My son made it home safely, that takes a load off my mind. He said the roads were really nasty. It all caught up with me, I slept in until almost 10 am this morning! About the only thing I’ve done today is go down to the post office and pick up my mail, quite a load! I paid some bills online and I’m settling in to catch up on shows I’ve recorded.

I’m going to make sort of a bowl meal for dinner; some rice, a burger patty, cotija cheese, green salsa and fried eggs. It’s one of my favorite combos, although I usually do some version of this mainly for breakfast once in awhile.

We have hot weather now so we are staying home with the airconditioning. Dinner last night was very yummy. I had a piece of beef to cook on the BBQ. I cut a pocket into it and filled the centre with stuffing... breadcrumbs, onion, mixed herbs, butter and an egg. We had it hot on fresh bread and the rest of the meat will be sliced thinly to use for cold meat during the week.
