Good Morning!

The fog got thick again yesterday afternoon and into the night. Today will be cloudy with light rain and the high of 43 and the low of 34.

I have frozen the leftover roast separate from the gravy so when I make more beef and barely soup, I can add the beef is at the end so that it does not become stringy and lose its flavor from over cooking. Or I can use it for beef and noodles.

Chicken noodle casserole, pickled beets, corn and jello with bananas will be dinner.

What will be your dinner tonight?

LTB our weather sounds very close to the same. It's another gray, gloomy day.
planning to make scalloped potatos w/ham. That is a big lovely hunk of ham so we'll be having a ham kinda week

I plan to spend the aft baking more cookies and tree trimming, so wanted an easy dinner.....chicken burgers, french fries/gravy will be it!

We were out looking at houses all day, even took the dog. We had Burger King for lunch and I am still stuffed. Burger King has been so ick for a long time but there is one in southern Ohio that is open 24 hours so we went there before just because they were open. Its the first BK I have had in a long time that is actually really good. Not only that the people working there seem to really enjoy their job and being around each other. I guess that makes all the difference.

It’s a cold and damp day today, a perfect day for warm clothes and staying inside. I was looking in my file cabinet for a picture that a photographer took of Ken some years back, one that was taken at the same time as the one that was in the newspaper. I found it and after Christmas I’m going to get some canvas prints of both of them. I’m going to post both of them on Facebook if you want to see them. He was a gentle soul and it shows in those pictures. I also found a couple of other items I was looking for, so that was a win!

I really have no idea what I want for dinner tonight, I have choices, plenty of them, but none strike my fancy yet. I may just make a smoked Turkey and cheese sandwich and some soup.

I read the other day that Burger King is FINALLY revamping their menu, and trying to be more competitive. It's good to hear you liked it!! They have been so mediocre. I hope the changes last.
