    Good Morning!

My Friend, the sun, is out in all its glory and I am so happy seeing it. The high will be 45 and the low of 35 with rain moving in late this evening.

I am making grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup tonight along baked apples with ice cream.

What will be your dinner this Friday night?
Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,

But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

Instant pot spaghetti tonight. I got all my errands done and took my mom fudge and towels for Christmas. Hubs got a vanload of towel sets so everyone is getting towels. We took 100 sets to the homeless shelter and I think we will still have enough to take some to the womens shelter too. Of course I want to keep them all because can you ever really have enough towels?

Another gloomy, gray day with rain on the way. High mid 40s low mid 30s

Found some turtle. Just got that in the oven for Joe's supper. I'll have scalloped potatos. Want to bake something sweet but can't decide what.

Brrrr! Cold and breezy today, just had to get a few items at the grocery store and needed my gloves. Not much happening today, had a long conversation with a coworker from Hughes Aircraft this afternoon, we both got laid off at the same time in 1998. We talked for almost 2 hours! Needless to say not much else got done.

I picked up two pieces of fried chicken at Haggen and I’m having some steamed zucchini with it.

D'sMom. Had to ask Joe. He said it's hard to explain. Very delicate. Closest would be chicken leg but I know from cooking it it's very rich and sticky. I have tasted it and it's not yucky but he LOVES it so I don't eat it cause we rarely get it now that my sis sold her place with the pond. We use to have tons of it. I caught this one. It was crossing the road. I leaped out picked it up & thru it in back floor. That sucker weighed at least 15 lbs and wanted to bite me. Was all I could do to pick it up.

It wouldn't fit on a 5 gal bucket. It was BIG. I have no idea how he cleans them. Got 3 big meals out of it. I flour and sear it. Dab oil out of Dutch oven. 2 cans cream of mushroom. About a cup chicken broth. Put meat back in cover tightly 225° for 4 hr. Remove bones and mix in cooked noodles and meat.
