It’s another cold day today, perfect day for getting my bee hind in gear to bake cookies, so that’s what I’ve been doing all afternoon. So far I’ve made close to 16 dozen and I have to do another 8 tomorrow. I’m giving 8 dozen to the family next door, 4 of the standard bourbon oatmeal cookies and 4 without nuts with white chocolate chips added. Some of their kids have nut allergies. I’m also making some without nuts for Jeremy too, he has nut allergies too. I’m making 8 dozen for the family of the sweet kids that take care of my trash cans every week. If I’m feeling energetic I might make some for some of the other neighbors too. We’ll see. Once I get the last batch out of the oven this afternoon I’m going to relax and then watch the Survivor season finale.

Dinner…good question! It will most likely involve some of the chili lime beef and cilantro rice, but beyond that it’s anybody’s guess.

I was up and out so I could be at ALDI as soon as it opened so I could get the spiral sliced ham that is on sale for $1.29 a pound. I have gotten it for years and it is so good and does not have that terrible salty taste. I got a nice one for now and as it is over 8 pounds, I will have some I can freeze and plenty for sandwiches for DGS and his lunches.

Dinner will be the leftover broccoli, cheese, bacon, onion morphed into soup for dinner along with a fresh fruit salad.

What will be your dinner this evening?
If you don't mind would you tell me how you cook your spiral sliced ham?

Gray, rainy day. It's 40° now I think that's as high as it will get today. Low 30s tonight. Went to Richmond to get beef tenderloin for Christmas. Ad said $12.99 a lb but it was $16.99 I got 2 but there small so may need to get another. Oh well it's just once a yr.
LTB they had spiral sliced ham for 89 cents. It was cooks. I love cooks ham but not fond of spiral sliced. It's sliced to thin. JMHO
picked up some hot dog buns so hot dog grilled cheese and tater tots. Joe will like beets. I may bake something.
