December 16th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It is raining and will off and on today with the high of 36 and the low of 27.

I have been thinking of pot stickers for several days so that will be dinner along with Jasmine rice, peas, fruit salad.

What food is tempting your tastebuds for your dinner tonight?

I made homemade ricotta yesterday just for mushroom manicotti today. I keep thinking about making peanut butter cookies but the pb I have is all natural, I am afraid it might be to oily.

I would agree muz unless you can find a recipe you can trust that uses it.

It's gray, windy and cold. 35° now.
Joe requested hamburger steaks in brown gravy, mashed potatos and a veggie. Prob green beans. Made choc chip cookies last eve.

Woke up to a blanket of snow, and the the flakes gently falling - so pretty! I just lay in bed watching and then hubby brought me in a coffee
Well, I had hoped that I would have enough leftover tater tot casserole for dinner, but looks like DS was extra hungry! He said he will pick up take-out fish & chips from the Legion after he plays hockey...hubby will have the leftovers and I bought myself a Hungry Man dinner lol

It was quite cold today, it took a long time for the frost to melt in the shady spots, it was still there at about 2 pm. I baked another 8 dozen cookies today, got them all ready for gifting this weekend. I’ll need to bake a small batch next week for the girl that cuts my hair. I really haven’t done much else today, tomorrow will be the cookie gathering at Jeremy’s mother’s house and Sunday I need to do some serious vacuuming and dusting.

Im feeling lazy now, so Velveeta shells and cheese with some smoked sausage sounds like a perfect dinner.
