[Chayote]

After our annual homeowners' meeting (we are very small), I hosted a Soup and Sandwich get together because meetings always make you hungry. The three soups haven't been served yet but a few light appetizers are on the table.
And the sandwiches are on a three tiered tray. Even though it was early
December, I presented a Fall table. Getting my Christmas table ready now.

Your stair case looks so much like the one we have in our house.

Sabine - I had four different sandwiches - Italian, Turkey Club, Tuna and Egg Salad. And three soups - all homemade - Tomato Basil, Chicken Noodle and Chili. I love anything curly que like the side of our staircase. I am not ultra-modern at all. There is also a hand painted ribbon that goes to the top of the stairs and comes down the second staircase that you can't see. Sort of my way of connecting the staircases. There is a bird carrying the ribbon to the top which you can't see in this picture.

Thank you, Rosie, and MudderBear - My favorite part of a get together is doing my table because I have lots of dishes (9 sets) and I feel like a pretty table is anticipation for a good meal.
