    Good Morning!

It is sunny and cold out with the high of 38 and the low of 24. I don't think it will be that warm as it is just bitter with this dang wind.

At long last I have running water in my kitchen. This has been a long ongoing battle of carrying water out there when I needed some and now it is running, and I am so very grateful for it. So grateful.

DGS said he will make dinner tonight and that is fine by me as he does a good job. I know he will be as happy as I am that we have water in the kitchen.

The contractor as he was leaving said that he had never seen anyone so grateful as I was. Yes, I am.

What will be your dinner on this cold day?

Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,
He drew a circle that shut me out.
But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

Sunny (finally) high 38 low 25. Wind chill in the teens.
LTB. Why have you not had water?
it's knit group day. So I think it will be burgers and potato salad.

It is a long boring story that finally got resolved and the contractor just looked at me, shook his head and finally got it fixed the right way. Some people know their trade, and some do not.

We got snow and very low temperatures last night, probably had 4 to 5 inches of the white stuff. It’s currently 28° so it’s not going to melt right away. Tomorrow and Thursday will be even colder, but starting Friday we’ll be in the 40’s and maybe 50 by Christmas. My fur babies went out for potty but were very happy to get back in the house, can’t say I blame them! Not much happening today at all and the neighborhood is pretty quiet. I was supposed to get a haircut tomorrow but I called and postponed it until next week, just didn’t want to deal with driving in the snow if I didn’t need to.

I’m going to have some shredded roast beef and gravy on rice and some yellow squash for dinner.

LTB I remember in our old house the kitchen sink pipe always froze, I am so so so glad those days are over. We went to dinner and I got chicken picatta. Hubs hates it so I know my left overs are safe.
