    Good Morning!

Man, the wind is howling this morning and gusting so bad that I cannot see across the road at time even without a lot of snow. We are at a dangerous temperature of 0 with the low of -5 and the wind chill of -35 with winds of 35 mph and under a Blizzard warning. So dangerous. I have a gas stove and hot water tank so will at least be blessed with that if the electric goes out. I sure pray that does not happen for so many reasons.

I made a big pot of chicken noodle soup yesterday and DGS was really happy seeing that last night and said it was a perfect item for then and today and early tomorrow with the weather like it is. Soup is a big hit here thank goodness. Soup it will be tonight along with more blueberry muffins that went over very well, and I think baked apples will be a hit along with the aroma.

    What will you be having?

WOWSIE WOW. There's only about 4 inches. It is 7 below, wind chill is 35 below. Wind gusting to 50/60 mph. Absolutely brutal. Didn't get much sleep. Wind howling and things banging. We are under a red advisory. No one on roads but emergency vehicles.

We're eating whatever we find In The fridge. I only have one fridge now the one in the basement crapped out. So it's going to be like tetris getting everything in there. Joe froze couple milk jugs for one cooler to put meat in. The 2nd cooler will be drinks. I love my kiddos but will be glad when it's over as I always am
LTB I'm going to make a Twinkie cake. Per instructions I always used vanilla pudding. I'm going to use cheesecake this time. I think it will be better.

I make both. Line baking dish with Twinkies. Mix pudding as per box instructions. Pour over Twinkies. Slice bananas over pudding. Top with cool whip. I shaved some choc bar on top.
some recipes call for sliced strawberries. Also can use well drained crushed pineapple or any combination of fruit.

It's so nasty out there! Apparently we are right smack dab in the middle of this storm, and can expect 5 feet of snow over the next few days! eeeks! Hope we will all be able to cook our Christmas dinners.
Dinner will be leftover chicken pot pie

Yes you must try both. They are great in the summer. No baking. Cool and refreshing. I'm trying to keep it really simple this year. Just can't do as much as I use to. I'm sure there will be enough no one goes away hungry.

It’s just nasty out today, we are barely above freezing but we’re getting freezing rain now. I did venture outside long enough to put some trash in the cans and that 8 feet from the garage to the cans was treacherous, crunchy snow and icy conditions made for unsure footing. I’m not going back out there until it warms up!

I’m going to reheat one of the hamburger cutlet Parmesan patties and have some more pasta with it. I vacuum sealed and froze the one that was still left. I need some extra room in the fridge!
