  • January 10th Dinner Post

    Good Morning!

It is a cloud covered sky with the high of 41 and the low of 34 with a slight chance of rain. It is weird thinking of rain in January but that will change in the coming days.

Per DGS's request dinner will be meatballs subs, salad and ice cream he has said he will bring home with him tonight as he will heat some applesauce he wants on it with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon on it. He also asked for a salad so that will be an easy enough meal for dinner.

What have you decided on for your dinner?
Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,
He drew a circle that shut me out.
But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

It is a bright, but frigid day here.
We are back to purging the bedrooms and oh what treasures we've found! DD will be up in a day or two and she'll have to go thru her belongings and decide what to keep, same with DS.
Dinner will be salisbury steaks, french fries done in the oven, gravy or course and peas.
A balanced diet is a cookie in both hands

"They" say it's 47. Just got back from store it sure does not feel 47. Burrrr. It's gray and dreary.
I've been stumped on supper. I have broccoli & cauliflower to use so decided on salmon patties and cheesy creamed potatos. Made a fruit salad yesterday with the vanilla pudding , it is yummy
LTB your meal sounds so good. I am not up to biting yet AND I MISS IT!!!

Could you eat it with a knife and fork? Meat and bun would both be soft.

Yea when I picked up the sandwiches from Wendy's we both had to use a knife & fork. It's just not the same

It’s been a beautiful day today! Clear skies and outstanding views of the snow covered Cascades. I was up early this morning, had my quarterly bug treatment done in the yard and headed off to Walmart with my list. I was running low on several things so I stocked up. Before I got to Walmart I stopped at the little car wash down the street from it and got my filthy car washed. I could barely see out the back window because of the mud and sand spray from the snow and rain. It’s supposed to rain for the next few days but I don’t have to go anywhere and the car lives in the garage all the time.

I’m going to have the rest of the lasagna from Jimmy’s and I got salad fixings to make a nice salad using the rest of the dressing from the one that came with the lasagna.
