    Good Morning!

    GGGGGGGood Morning!

That just about says it all. Cold and then some. The high will be 15 and the low of 8 and the wind chill is -5 at the moment. So bitter cold. I ran a couple of errands yesterday and it was so cold then that by the time I hit the dentist office I thought the walk across the parking lot was at least 5 miles. Snow moving in with 2-4 inches expected. This girl is not going out today unless someone drags me out.

I am making a rice, chicken and broccoli casserole for dinner with cheesecake for DGS.

What is your Friday night dinner?
Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,
He drew a circle that shut me out.
But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

A very rainy day with wind still coming from the south, chilled by Antarctica. Feels like winter rather than summer. A lot of trees are down in our area.

Tomorrow is the first doll club for the year. John has decided to join and come to meetings. He went to the Christmas meeting last December and enjoyed himself. I guess living in a house full of dolls and bears has given him a new interest as well... The theme for this month is "Controversial Celebrities" so I've dressed one of my bears in a blue suit, white shirt, red tie, American flag pin in his lapel and red cap to represent your former President. Try as I did, I couldn't think of many controversial celebrities other than a few singers and actors which would have been difficult to clothe in recognisable outfits, so a politician met the criteria.

Our dinner tonight was to use up leftovers in the fridge. We had mashed potato and savoury mince... I added some mozzarella cheese to mine.

I hope I sleep better tonight... Last night I had a very long nightmare... I remember it all and remember screaming in my sleep. John woke me three times but each time I just fell back into the nightmare so he ended up pulling me out of my bed to stand up. Embarrassing because I woke my neighbour as we currently live in a duplex. Maybe our builders should soundproof my bedroom walls in the new house.

Yes Chayote I want to see your bear.
It's very cold today we'll be lucky to get out of the teens. We had a crazy long day yesterday in Muncie. We grabbed a burger and milk shake from steak & shake. I was so wiped out I gave no thought to supper tonight. So a quickie of French toast and sausage. Hopefully I'll do better tomorrow.

I was hoping someone would ask.... This bear was a lot of fun to put together.

Darn... I didn't pull his jacket down straight. I took him outside to photograph because it's barely daylight and it's cold out there. His little phone works... the three buttons in order: notification of message... ring tone... photo click

Wasn't Biden the one who had his pants on backwards? Trump never looked frumpy and never wore a suit in that ugly blue color, he had much better taste.
I can't wait for 2024 when we will have another republican president, may not be Trump , but believe me it will not be Biden, should he live that long.

I love it Chayote! Much more adorable than the one he’s modeled after!

It’s been a mixed bag of weather today; sunny when I got up, then rainy and cold with wind and some very dark clouds. I was going to go to Safeway in Mount Vernon for gas and a few groceries but decided to wait until next week to do it. There was nothing I needed urgently, so it can wait. The dinner MeetUp was really nice last night, very good company and the food was amazing! I saw several things that I’d love to try.

I saw a recipe online this morning for fish fillets with a white wine butter sauce that sounds so good an I had everything on hand to make it. I’m going to make a packet of brown rice and quinoa and have a small Caesar salad with it.

Sabine, Google images disagrees. About half the photos online shows him wearing a blue suit. I tossed up whether to use khaki pants and white polo but this outfit is the most recognisable. Me dressing my bear is simply to portray a controversial figure which I believe I've done

Of course you have Chayote, you are never wrong. Silly me, how could I have not remembered that Trump wore a blue suit.

I'm not being nasty or disrespectful, Sabine. I might have chosen an Australian politician but couldn't find one that anyone would recognise on a bear. It's just a bit of fun. I know you love Trump and that's your business. All I did was copy off a well-used photo.

As for me never being wrong, that's your opinion. I just call it "research"

                        I'm done.

So that's why you stay up all night " doing research "
Of course you are " Done " , whenever you find yourself in a corner " you are done " .

I'm not in a corner, I just didn't see the need to continue and yes I stay up very late at night. So do a lot of people. I'm fully aware that you don't like me, Sabine but I'm ok with that. We have just arrived at the doll meeting.
