  • February 6th Dinner Post

    Good Morning!

It is overcast with the high of 38 and the low of 30 with a chance of light rain.

I pulled hamburger from the freezer yesterday and still have not decided what I am using it for. Soup, goulash, meatloaf, sloppy joes, and the thoughts go on.

What will be your dinner this evening?
Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,
He drew a circle that shut me out.
But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

I’m going out for lunch so dinner this evening is questionable. Probably a Boost.

Sunny 30° high upper 40s sure can't complain about that in Feb.
pulled last 2 chicken breast last eve. I have decided after much thought to try a new recipe for creamy ranch chicken. I'll serve over brown rice. Joe will prob have peas I will have carrots.

Trying a Cooking Light recipe for chicken in mushroom sauce. I will have mine over farro, but I am sure hubs wont touch the farro. Sounds like its his problem and not mine for missing out on deliciousness.

muzette, I’m a big fan of farro, so was Ken. It is just so good and versatile.

It’s been cool and dark cloudy all day. I’ve just been doing little busy work tasks all day, nothing really difficult, just needs to be done.

I’m going to make more of the beef quesadillas and have more of the apple cranberry coleslaw with it.

I'm only just getting to this, 24 hours late. Yesterday I had my haircut and have thankfully found my new hairdresser. Much better than driving back to Melbourne. I feel human again. From the hairdressers we drove straight to Julia's house to take over from the nanny. The children were very happy to see us but they were so... so... *LOUD*. We had both children for only an hour and then Andrew on his own for about 3 hours. We got home at around 11pm. We could have made some dinner at Julia's house but decided to wait until we got home and had hot dogs in bread and I had a tin of baked beans. We slept well last night.

Your comment on the kids being loud made me when mine were small Cassie (the youngest) was so loud it was painful. Found out she couldn't hear very well. Had tubes put in her ears. We thought that would help but she's 22 now and still loud. LOL. She can hear fine so guess she's just loud and lovely.
