February 8th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

At the moment the sky is clear, and the sun is bathing the land in all its glory. Clouds will move in later and rain and wind will take center stage. The high of 43 and the low of 36.

We will have pizza tonight along with a salad.

What are you having for the middle of the week dinner?

We had some horrible weather yesterday, we were only supposed to get rain but while we were out on the highway, it changed to freezing rain, not a good drive! Hubby saw a transport coming up fast behind us, tires hitting the slush, he tried to move over as far right as he could but the transport flew so fast past us, slamming our windshield with one huge gob of messy crap...I screamed, scared the sh*t outta me!
Today, the sun is shining Seeing that it is a nicer day, DS has offered once again to BBQ some steaks for dinner. I will look after the sauteed peppers/onions/mushrooms, asparagus and baked potatoes...really looking forward to this dinner!

I keep hearing rumbles and hope we don’t have a storm on the way. Dinner tonight is questionable at best. Maybe a grilled cheese sandwich.

It’s been nice and sunny today but there’s definitely some chill in the air. I have been so sleepy all day today and I have no idea why, I slept very well last night. I’ve been kind of napping this afternoon so I haven’t really done much. I’ve got a dental appointment tomorrow and I have a feeling it will be another root canal on a tooth that’s already had two in the past. I’m not looking forward to it at all, but it’s got to be taken care of ASAP. Just another one of the joys of being 75+.

I’m going to make a cheeseburger tonight and have more of the coleslaw with it.

LTB had to read your post again. cause I thought you said the sun was BATHING the land. But...ya know some can't read to well and made reference to your post that the sun was BASTING the land. BAAAHAAA ROFLOL. Didn't think you'd say something so dumb.
