    Good Morning!

It is overcast at the moment, but I can see breaks in the clouds, that will make for a mostly sunny day with the high of 38 and the low of 26.

Dinner will be sausage gravy and biscuits along with applesauce. Easy meal and one of our favorites.

Will you be dinning in or out for your evening meal?

We drew a circle that took him in.

The weather today was perfect for doing some work outside. It was not too hot, not too cold and a gentle westerly breeze. Tomorrow is expected to be very similar.

Our dinner was nice... chicken wings cooked on the BBQ so no cleanup in the kitchen. I had mine with fried rice; John just had the chicken wings. They were followed by some watermelon.

Severe clear. Nary a cloud in the sky. 28° high 40ish.
put on a pot of hobo stew. otherwise known as veggie soup made with hamburger. The way my mom always made it. Will probably have grilled Swiss cheese sandwiches.

Sausage gravy sounds good with biscuits. I am thinking of making chili but have been too lazy to get moving so far. My son was grilling brisket today. Everything sounds good.

It’s a nice day today, cloudy but otherwise pleasant. I’ve been watching lots of birds in the backyard digging up bugs while Mendi sits and stares at them. I try to let the birds have uninterrupted time out there before I let the cat out. I went over to Del Fox Meats this morning. The had an ad last night that starting at noon today they would have marinated and smoked tri-tip available for $10.99 a pound. I got there and the line was long, but I got a really nice one and it tastes amazing. I’m going to freeze at least half of it after dinner.

Needless to say, I’m having tri-tip, a baked potato with all the goodies and some roasted asparagus for my dinner!

Oh! we had a great day! I made a pot of potato leek soup, and hubby suggested the soup along with grilled cheese/onion sandwiches for dinner...we went out to get a nice loaf of fresh made bread from the bakery for it. We were just hanging out here at the house and DD stopped in and then DS stopped in, then we ended up with all our kids here hanging out, had a few snacks and bevvies....had a lot of fun with Kian. Been a long time since we've done this, love the impromptu thing.
