February 16th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

Cloudy-check, rain moving in-check, thunderstorms-check, high 56-check, low of 26-check. Staying home-check.

BLT sandwiches on homemade bread, minestrone soup from the freezer and fruit salad.

What will be your dinner tonight?

Cheese burgers with some kind of veg. I haven't really been in the cooking mood all week.

Quite a loud thunderstorm in the wee hours. Woke me right up. Cloudy, chilly 46 feels like 34.
Have cooked shrimp from Tuesday. So guess it'll be shrimp fettuccini alfredo.

It’s been dark and cloudy today, rain is expected some time tonight. I had to make a Walmart run today, I poured the last of the cat kibble into Mendi’s feeder this morning. I had several other odds and ends I needed too, so I’m good for a few weeks. I did see some spectacular views of the snowy Cascades and saw large flocks of Snow Geese in the fields. It’s always a pretty drive up there.

I’m going to modify an old Rachael Ray recipe for dinner tonight. The recipe is for Tuna Pasta Puttanesca, but I can’t eat tuna, so I’m going to substitute boneless skinless sardines instead. It should be good. I’ll probably have some fruit with it.
