    Good Morning!

We have a major change in the temperature with the high of 26 and the low of 19 with strong wind gusts and snowflakes dancing in the wind. It will be a cloud covered sky all day.

I am solo tonight so will have something for dinner, just not sure what yet.

What is enticing you for your dinner?
Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,
He drew a circle that shut me out.
But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

We just had leftovers from the fridge tonight. Nothing even worth talking about but it filled our bellies. I'll cook tomorrow.

Not sure what we are doing over the weekend. If it doesn't get too hot I might start taking cuttings off my succulents and planting them in the pots I recently purchased. By the time we move to the new house I'll have an instant display of nice succulents for the garden.

I have a pot roast on the smoker, probably brussel sprouts to go with.

It’s been a beautiful day today, bright and sunny with puffy white clouds. I had a total brain fart this morning, lucky it worked out OK. I knew I had a haircut appointment today and my brain said it was at noon, in spite of the fact it was marked on my calendar AND the appointment card right next to the calendar that it was at 10 am. I happened to glance at the card at about 11:30 and realized I’d messed up. I called and I was lucky enough to get an appointment today at 1:30 pm. I felt so bad and was happy to pay her for the one I missed and the one I got. After my appointment I treated myself to an order of stuffed jalapeņos at Jack In The Box. I get those a few times a year and they taste so good!

I’ve got chicken in the Crock Pot with sauce to make chicken and Bisquick dumplings for dinner. I’ll be putting the dumplings in the pot in about an hour. I’m going to add some frozen peas to the mix too.

Chilly, bright day today, we got a few inches of snow thru the nite. We had Kian over today. Morning was good, then put him to bed and he only slept for 45 minutes, waking up screaming. Ugh. It was so difficult to deal with, he wanted to be picked up, then not, laid on floor crying. He did even want his bottle. Had to call Momma and Dada, they came out of class to be here. Poor lil guy
Dinner was leftover chicken/stuffing casserole and french fries, peas.
          I'm pooped out lol!

            Good evening!

It was chilly out today in the mid-high 30's.But the sun was out so it was pretty.Woke up to the sound of City Utilities cutting down a large oak tree right across the street. It took 9 men to do the job! Most of them just stood around watching it tho.It was a little after 8 am when they started & they were still going at it till about 4 pm.I was hoping to sleep in this morning, since I was up last night till 4 am with feet/leg pain.Anyway,I was thinking that its just common courtesy to not do something business like that, till after 9am & no later than 9 pm?& arent they supposed to notify people in advance that there is work going on in the vacinity?I dont know, maybe i'm wrong but it would have been nice to know....

For dinner tonight we had chili 3 ways,a small salad & apple dumplings w/homemade cinnamon ice cream.

I have never heard of cinnamon ice cream. I adore cinnamon and with home made ice creams sounds divine! How do you make this, D'sMom?
