    Good Morning!

It is foggy out this morning and very dreary looking. Warmer inland but 55 for a high and 22 for a low with winds picking back up this evening gusting upwards of 40 mph.

Mac and cheese, ham loaf, salad and pudding cake will dinner.

What sounds good in your neck of the woods?

Cocktails, that's what I am having tonight!

Since we are always buying houses I never really get impressed by them much. We found one we loved and decided to move out of the city. We had been looking at putting an addition on our house so I guess things worked out. We didnt think we had a chance of getting the new house because the previous owner refinanced it for 400k before he passed away 3 months later. Usually the bank buys it back for the original mortgage amount so the PMI kicks in and they get paid back in full. I guess miracles happen because we got the house for a decent price.

I really thought where we are now would be our forever home but hubs was driving home the other day and saw a lady getting mauled by a pit-bull. He was trying to beat the dog off with a baseball bat and it wasn't stopping. The police killed the thing but the lady lost 3 fingers. Hubs was super upset because I walk that route almost daily and it could have been me. I do like living in the city because I can walk everywhere. I sure will miss having sidewalks.

muzette: I was a city girl. I Ieft the city when I was 18, I hated it. It will certainly be a different life style. But, are you close enough to town/city to do all the stuff you like to do and shop? New transition in your life, change can be good! All the best to you.

Weather here has been very nasty. We did go to town tho picking up grocery specials
I made a banana bread when we got home.
Hubby has gone out to hang out with his old geezer buddies, lol...they are all like 80+, but he just loves their company...they go to the legion and have a drink or two.
Dinner is simple, the frozen veal cutlets, herb & butter noodles and green beans
A balanced diet is a cookie in both hands

It’s been a gorgeous day today, so bright and sunny but definitely chilly, high temperature about 36°. Did some general tidying and some of the bill paying this afternoon too. I’m glad I don’t have to mail them, it’s a bit too chilly to walk up to the mailbox.

I’m going to make a package of Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken and have some Yakisoba noodles with it, and I might finish up the steamed yellow squash too.
