    Good Morning!

We had rain, snow, sleet and hail yesterday and overnight it was decided that snow would win out so we have about 2 inches of snow and that will soon be melted, I am sure. The sun is putting forth it's welcome rays this morning with the high of 38 and the low of 27 with wind thrown in for making it feel little cooler.

I put kidney beans soaking last night so chili it will be along with cornbread waffles and baked apples. I cooked up several pounds of hamburger with onion, peppers and garlic that I bought in bulk on Saturday, divided it up and froze it. Today is just a matter of beans, precooked meat, seasoning, tomato sauce and a can of fire roasted tomatoes into the crockpot. That is as easy as it gets for chili in my book.

What will be your dinner tonight?
Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,
He drew a circle that shut me out.
But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

It’s a pretty day today, interesting clouds and nice views. I took my car in to Les Schwab Tires this afternoon for a free tire rotation, they said my car is in great shape. It should be! I expect I’ll turn 35000 on the odometer sometime this week, pretty low for a 2015. I need to get it in to the dealer for oil change etc. in the next few weeks too. I came home and got all my meatball soup and Hawaiian chicken and rice casserole portioned out and vacuum sealed and into the freezer, so now there’s some room in the fridge. Today is the 48th anniversary of my very first date with Ken. I really miss him.

I’m going to have more of the meatball soup for dinner tonight along with some garlic bread.
