    Good Morning!

No complaints here on the weather as we have another morning of a jewel in the sky that makes everything look so wonderful. The high will be 40 and the low of 31. Rain will start late tonight turning into snow and by tomorrow night 5-7 inches.

I am happy I have my flowers in my kitchen window that will be what I see and smell. I have another plant I was given years ago and repotted late fall that is blooming now along with my Christmas cactus. I wish I knew what the one is that I was gifted. It is so pretty and the flowers look like small roses but the plant looks more like a succulent. After a good drink yesterday the ones I just bought are up straight and growing and look so pretty with all of them on the sill.

Dinner will be the last of the roast beef diced along with the potatoes and I will add an onion and there you have roast beef hash along with scrambled eggs, biscuits and applesauce.

What food is calling your name?
Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,
He drew a circle that shut me out.
But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

It certainly is a gorgeous day out there for us as well I'm going to do some dinner prep, bake some muffins, then head out for a walk to the park...I did 4 laps the other day, hoping to get another one or two more in today.
Dinner will be meatloaf and some mashed patties...I cannot ever seem to be able to get them very flavourful...I am adding some crisp bacon pieces, onion, and grated old cheddar cheese, maybe I should add a bit of garlic? Will have a side of green beans.
A balanced diet is a cookie in both hands

Pretty, sunny 50° wind chill brings it down to 38° low tonight 26° wind rain and snow moving in later. Can't complain tho it's been a crazy warm winter.
cooked a pork roast yesterday, so good ol leftovers. Made ham & cheese sliders today. Just because I had to use the rolls. Making banana pudding later.
Went to Kroger this morn. Bought 10 lbs Jimmy Dean sausage for 2.49 lb

I wanted to make meatloaf but I have chicken shredded to make chicken salad and think I will prep that in a bit and see what else I can come up with. This should finish off the chicken.

It is beautiful today! We actually hit the low 50’s this afternoon. I made another run to Grocery Outlet and got more of the steelhead fillets like I smoked last night. They were so good and perfectly trimmed. I’ve already gotten them vacuum sealed and into the freezer. Have I ever mentioned how much I love my Food Saver? I can’t imagine being without one and the Kirkland brand bags are really good too.

I’m going to make Cook’s Country’s smoked Turkey and cheddar sandwiches with pickled apple slices again tonight. I made them over a year ago and they were so good and I just happened to have everything I needed to make them. I made some simple coleslaw to go with it.

I agree Charlene. If mine quit I'd be flying to get a replacement. Back many yrs ago when we were raising and processing pigs we bought a big case of 8x12 and a case of one size bigger. I'm just now getting toward the bottom of the 8x12.

I’m on my second one rosie, and I started having problems with this one, it just wouldn’t get a good vacuum seal. I order a new gasket from Amazon and it works like a champ now. The day this one dies I’ll be in the store getting a new one immediately. I simply can’t imagine being without one! It’s great for freezing portions of leftovers so that I don’t need to eat one dish for days on end.
