March 13th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It is a cloud covered sky with light snow falling then stopping and starting. It must be it can't make up its mind what it feels like doing. The high of 37 and the low of 25 with lake effect snow starting overnight.

Dinner will be breaded chicken tenders that I am making using Cheese It crackers for the breading, will coat potatoes in the same and bake all and add applesauce for our dinner.

What are you planning for your dinner tonight?

Warm day today that was unpleasant due to having no airconditioning. Our landlord is getting it repaired but he's awaiting a major part to be sent from Sydney. We are expecting a very hot day on Friday and I'm praying the part will arrive before then.

We are back to looking for a suitable vehicle to transport our mobility scooters. A year ago I bought a VW long wheel base Caddy thinking it would be big enough for two scooters. Nowhere near big enough. After a lot of research and measuring tapes, we think we've settled on a Renault Trafic LWB Pro. Fingers crossed because I'm tired of searching online for vehicles. Hopefully this will be the last time ever.

Dinner tonight was very casual. John had hot dogs, potato and onion with bake-at-home bread rolls. I had a tin of baked beans, hot dogs and a couple of tortillas. Desperately need to do some shopping because there's very little in the house.

Brrr its cold outside. Cleaning out some cabinets since its trash day. If I haven't used it in a year its getting tossed. Meatloaf, green beans and mashed potatoes.

I have a sweet potato that I may bake but I need to take a quick look in the fridge to see what I have to cook. I do have shrimp that I could fix and make shrimp and grits. Right now my appetite is shot.

I’m so happy to see that Chayote and John are back safe and sound! I hope you get your AC fixed sooner than later.

It’s been kind of cold and drizzly all day today. The cat wants to go outside, but when I open the door for her it’s NOPE, not doing it! Abby doesn’t seem to mind it though. I’m still a little off kilter from the time change, I figure I’ll get used to it in another week or so. Not much happening today at all.

I’m going to slice up more of the tri-tip and I’m going to make a clone type recipe for Noodles Romanoff (I hope it tastes like the old Betty Crocker boxed noodles!) and have more of the green beans I made.
