  • April 4th Dinner Post

    Good Morning!

It is a partly sunny sky with hazy clouds and a high of 65 and the low of 58 along a chance of rain later this evening with a storm system moving in for Wednesday.

DGS requested BBQ chicken sandwiches, baked beans, deviled eggs and he said he will dream of eating more pie tonight all day.

What will be your dinner for tonight?
Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,
He drew a circle that shut me out.
But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

It was John's poker day so we ate lunch at our Club. John didn't have much time between our arrival and the start of his game so he just ordered some onion rings. I ordered salmon patties and salad. Dinner tonight was at Julia's house. She had cooked roast lamb and vegetables.

I was busy most of the day doing a good house clean, all the kids will be coming over for Easter dinner on Saturday. I had previously told them that I was not going to do it...then had a change of heart as all the kids are getting along now, and I decided I HAD to have this dinner! Now, I'm getting excited!
Dinner for us is chicken breasts smeared in caesar dressing, topped with Italian bread crumbs, broccoli/carrots, and Side Kicks noodles.

It’s been a really pretty day today, blue skies and puffy white clouds. I’ve been busy filling out paperwork for the Senior Citizens Exemption for my property taxes today and making all the necessary copies. I’m going to take them down the the tax assessor’s office on Thursday rather than mail them, mostly because I want to be sure everything needed is there. It’ll save me at least $1200 this year if accepted. It means going to Everett, but that’s not a big deal, might hit up Trader Joe’s while I’m there. Not much else going on, got a dentist appointment tomorrow.

I’m going to have more of the pulled pork with salsa verde, cilantro lime rice and some steamed yellow squash.
