April 12th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

What a lovely day with the high of 75 and the low of 54 with a clear, sunny sky.

I was gifted some pork loin and scalloped potatoes last evening as my friend had made way more than needed for their dinner and only had limited room in her freezer. I will add a vegetable and that will be an appreciated meal.

I have a pork loin that I would have fixed today but after two medical appointments today and a late lunch dinner will not be happening here today.

I am thinking chicken alfredo, but Kenny Kings sounds really good. I might just get that.

Gorgeous day. 75 light breeze. Got patio furniture cleaned and got my fanny planted on the patio doin nothing.
Went to Greenville earlier to Aldi. Picked up a sack of maid rites. So there's leftover creamed eggs, taco bake and maid rites. I say grab and growl.

It’s a beautiful day today! I actually turned off the furnace this afternoon for the first time since the end of November and I have the back door open too. I gave the house a good sweeping and vacuuming earlier and now I’m just relaxing until I start dinner.

I’m trying out a recipe for chicken in tarragon cream sauce tonight so I can use up some fridge items and I’m think I’ll make some pasta of some kind to go with it. I might steam some asparagus too but haven’t decided yet. I’ll post the recipe after dinner if it comes out good.

Edited to add: My neighbor across the street asked me after I posted if I’d like to go have dinner at the cafe down the street, so yes! I’ll cook the chicken tomorrow!
