April 21st Dinner Post

Good Morning!

The sun is shining with a high of 70 and the low of 47 along with rain moving in later tonight.

French toast, ham steak, applesauce from the freezer and a banana smoothie will be dinner?

It's raining, it's pouring it's 48 and windy. High 69 low 42.
I've got 2 baked chicken breast left. I'm thinkin Joe's grandma's creamed chicken over mashed. That could change. ???? Was thinkin bout tetrazzini too picked up some baby swiss yesterday so maybe I will find a recipe using breast & swiss. Heck I don't know. Lol

We spent the day with Andrew and Hannah today while their Mum and Dad worked. Hannah is getting used to staying with us now. We go to their house so she has everything she needs to feel secure. Again Andrew wanted to play board games and it was Granddad's turn to play them this time. I entertained Hannah with some Bluey toys that she loves.

We came home for dinner. Julia offered for us to stay with them for dinner but I needed to use the meat and chicken that I have in our fridge. I have no freezer space to store it. We had southern fried chicken cooked in the airfryer. I had some vegetable fried rice with mine; John had baked potato and onion with his.

Tomorrow is Doll Club sewing day. I'm going to spend my time there cutting out costumes for my Build-a-Bear Nativity. Other members will be sewing but I haven't had my sewing machine tagged by an electrician yet.

Two more rows of crochet to do on my big blanket and then I can start on the edging.

It’s been a pretty nice day today, kind of cool and cloudy but pleasant nonetheless. I mailed my property taxes this afternoon, now I don’t have to think about them for a few months. Once I get approved for the seniors exemption I’ll get a refund of a portion of it to help pay the other half. I needed 4 things at the grocery store and the lines were really long for live checkers so I did self-check which I freakin’ hate! Of course I picked one that was acting up and needed help a couple of times. Offer me a 20% discount on the whole order and I might consider doing it more often! Like that’s ever going to happen!

I’m going to make a chicken and rice casserole and use the topping from a different recipe on it when I make it. It will make a bunch but the Food Saver is out and ready to go for packing up the leftovers!
