Thank you, MudderBear... I love the food at that restaurant. Since moving to South Australia I'm really enjoying the food. Funny how another state can have so many different cuisines.
Happy late birthday Chayote! Sounds like a wonderful day!
It was a beautiful day today, absolutely perfect. Kim and I went to Leavenworth today and the drive on Highway 2 is nothing short of spectacular. The rivers were all nice and full, there was still snow on the Cascades and those craggy peaks are just stunning. Leavenworth was busy but still fun to look around in the shops, it’s a very dog friendly place. We also took a drive through the historical district of Snohomish, such an interesting place. We had a beautiful drive home and after we dropped Abby off at home we went out for dinner.
We went to Jimmy’s for their amazing lasagna and salads and we have enough left for another night. Now we’re both ready to crash!
It was my birthday today and we went to lunch at my favourite restaurant with Julia and Hannah. Hannah kept us entertained. Now that she can hear, she's come along in leaps and bounds and learning new words every day. She loves singing and she had us singing Baby Shark complete with all the actions... *LOL* It was just a joyous time. We didn't bother with dinner tonight so I'll list what we had for lunch. We had four tapas plates between Julia and I... John had Barramundi with chips and vegetables... Hannah ate whatever she wanted from our order. The tapas plates were Charred haloumi with crostini, Mushroom risotto arancini with Napolitano sauce, Chargrilled king prawns with mango coulis, and Crumbed mushrooms stuffed with cheddar. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!
