    Good Morning!

It is a fantastic day with the high of 71 and low of 48. Everything is either in bloom, ready for blooming and such a lovely green on trees, shrubs and the lawns. My lilac bushes are in bloom and the scent is so enticing.

Sub sandwiches that DGS said he will make, and I just put some French onion soup from the freezer into the crockpot that will make DGS very happy as he just loves it. I have some fruit cups left from yesterday so we will have them also.

What direction are you heading for your dinner?

But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

Stayed home today to work on my Nativity project. The Exhibition is next Saturday and Sunday. I have one King to do, Jesus and His manger. It's looking really good except that I wish the table was bigger.

Dinner was pork chops... John had the usual baked potato, baked onion and peas (I wonder if he will ever get tired of them); I had mine with a salad that Julia made with cabbage, peanuts, spring onions and one of the best sauces she's made so far.

Tomorrow John plays poker and I'll relax at our Club reading magazines and doing some crochet... unless Hannah's nanny calls in sick and I'm needed to fill in.

Sunny day here, but fairly blustery....good laundry drying day
Our volunteer fire department was called out to a brush fire this morn...this makes me wonder if there are really thoughtless people that would be out in yard burning?
We have a total fire ban in place for our area.
I made my 'taco thingy' dinner, my recipe calls for chicken & rib BBQ sauce, but I swapped it out for some tomato paste/water, and part package of low sodium taco seasoning mix, can of baked beans, onion, garlic. Got a nice loaf of hearty whole grain bread to slice and toast to put meat on, top with lettuce and low fat cheese.
A balanced diet is a cookie in both hands

It’s another very warm day today, just turned on the AC. I introduced Kim to two of my favorite movies of all time last night, Auntie Mame and Portrait of Jennie. I hadn’t seen either one in several years so I really enjoyed seeing them again. We’ve just been taking it slow today. We’re meeting up with the ladies from the Meet Up group I’m in this evening and we’re having dinner at Dragon Palace and going to see Book Club 2 after dinner. I think she’ll get a kick out of these ladies!
