Just a silly thing here. My niece calls her daughter a woman. Is she not a child? girl? She is only two years old. Is this weird or am I thinking too much into it lol. I always thought one 'became' a woman at age 18 or so, and then was most times considered an adult? On the great nieces BD, Mommy announced on facebook that her 'beautiful woman' was turning two years old.

What kind of responses did she get ? Just wondering.A balanced diet is a cookie in both hands

In the good, old days we had man, woman, girl and boy... now we are politically incorrect if we refer to anyone like this. Hopefully as time goes on, we can go back to recognising with man, woman, girl or boy again...
It's also crazy that children's books from 40-100 years ago are also being censored because of gender specifics.
I had to fill in a document at a new doctor's visit and it didn't only ask if I was male or female... it asked how I wanted to be referred to, i.e. male, female, non- binary, transgender, etc. and when spoken about, would I prefer "he, she or other". I was very tempted to write, "cranky old lady"Last edited by Chayote; 05-17-2023, 01:17 AM.Effort only fully releases its rewards after a person refuses to quit.
