    Good Morning!

The sky is clearing, and the sun is coming out more as time moves on. The high of 78 and the low of 56 with storms predicted tonight and overnight.

I had a friend call me yesterday from a store where they were selling MacIntosh apples for $1.00 a pound for a 3 lb. bag. She said the apples were big and did I want some? Oh yes please. I could see applesauce on the horizon. She said she would donate if I would donate back a dish of applesauce as she has hands that just won't work well anymore. I now have a 5 qt. crockpot full of apples and the smell is starting and I will love smelling it all day. I still have some left so as they cook down, I will just feed more in. Bless her heart for thinking of me.

DGS asked for chili dogs for tonight so I have pulled a small container of chili from the freezer, will pan grill some hotdogs, have some homemade applesauce of course and sweet potato oven fries for dinner this evening.

What sounds good for your meal tonight?
Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,
He drew a circle that shut me out.
But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

I'm up date tonight, still dressing dolls for the Doll and Bear Exhibition. It's open to the public on Sunday but I have to go to the hall tomorrow (Saturday) and set up the Nativity and hand over my Disney Build-a-Bears and Pedigree dolls. The dresses I'm using for the two 16" Pedigrees are about 10 years old. They look perfect except that the elastic in the sleeves had broken down. I've replaced it in one and about to start the second one. Then I need to style their hair. Believe it or not, the dolls and bears have become my major hobby since we moved to South Australia. I love having the time to spend making clothes for them. I still crochet the baby blankets towards a craft market being held at Andrew's school at the end of the year.

For dinner we both had the same... John loved it and I tolerated it. I cooked pork belly on the BBQ and cooked oven-baked potatoes and grilled onion. I'm not a fan of pork but I didn't want to cook two different meals.

It’s a beautiful day in the PNW today, bright and sunny and temperatures in the high 60’s to low 70’s, just about perfect. Abby even wanted to be outside for a couple of hours today, kind of unusual for her. She wandered just about every inch of the back yard. She’s pretty much blind from cataracts (caused by her insulin) but she does love to go out sniffing around. I really slept late today, I guess I must have needed it and I just did some straightening and a quick run to the grocery store for a couple of produce items I needed for dinner.

I’m going to try a package of Trader Joe’s Beef Birria and make some birria tacos for myself. I read some reviews that said the TJ’s product was very good and I do love birria tacos.
