May 22nd Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It will be mostly sunny today with the high of 76 and the low of 55 making it a beautiful day.

I have pulled precooked roast from the freezer along with gravy for hot sandwiches, corn and pickled beets for dinner.

What will be your dinner tonight?

Ditto LTB on weather. So far I've gotten 2 sets of curtains on the line and 2 sets in the washer. LR and DR windows washed. Door windows washed and my arms feel like rubber bands I intend to do alot of cleaning this beautiful week we're having.
Got out a pkg pork tenderloin to bread, a corn/swiss casserole and probably french.fries. I have some Mexican wedding cookies.

It was kind of rainy this morning, nothing heavy at all, but it’s been cool and gray all the rest of the day. Today would have been my 45th wedding anniversary, the second one since Ken passed. I have chosen to not dwell on the sadness and instead celebrate all the wonderful years we had together and not be a downer to everyone around me, and I think I’m doing a pretty darn good job of it. I had to do a quickie grocery run for some things for dinner later in the week.

I’m making a dish I tried a couple of years ago, Toasted Couscous with Chicken and Chickpeas for dinner and I’ll have some fruit with it.

Lovely weather day today, bit cool. Had a gathering of kids come over and down to lake, the boys all raked up the pine needles and got a fire going to burn them, then we realized there was still a fire ban on...even after 2 days of solid rain. Scuffed up the sand for Kian to play in....got rid of a lot of goose poop...nasty critters we BBQ'd burgs and had salad for dinner.
