Good Morning!
It is a hazy sky at the moment with a high of a toasty 80 and the low of 58.
I was talking with my friend when I took her applesauce over and found out she loves strawberries but just cannot hold anything so she can get the top off. Light bulb moment happened so I got several containers as they are on sale, Cleaned them for her, sliced them and they are ready for delivery along with more applesauce I made for her and packaged so she can keep some out and freeze the rest. I ended up with 10 pints strawberries and 8 pints of applesauce along with the 4 I already made and gave her. Now I know where some of the overflow from my gardens can go especially the green beans and tomatoes. The green beans will just need tipped and tailed and snapped or however she wants them I will be so happy doing for her.
Dinner tonight will be a loaded chef salad and I will surprise DGS with strawberry shortcake.
