June 10th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It is hazy again today but after we get some much- needed rain hopefully tomorrow that should clear the sky from having so much smoke in it. I can't imagine how big the fires are that sending the smoke this far south. The safety of the firefighters would be a prime concern in my book.

The temperature has risen a tad and will be 81 today and the low of 61. Another nice summer day.

Dinner will be salmon patties, sheet pan sweet potatoes, broccoli and a strawberry smoothie.

What will be your yummy in the tummy dinner tonight?

83 today. Low humidity so I'll be able to stand having windows & doors open. We are under a severe air quality alert but honestly it doesn't look smokey or hazy. ? Feel like yucky today. The neighbor called last evening offered to get maidrites so I'll give Joe leftover chicken & biscuits and I'll have a maidrite.
LTB thanks for the thought of salmon patties. That will probably be tomorrow. Quick, easy and tasty. Just the way I like it.

It’s been another drizzly day today, cool temperatures and cloudy. I don’t mind days like this at all, I enjoy cooler weather. Not much happening here, doing some reading and relaxing. I watched the movie Chinatown last night, for some reason I’d never gotten around to watching it before and it was really very good. Hard to believe it’s almost 50 years old! I’ll be catching up on some movies I’ve wanted to see while it’s officially rerun season. I’ve got a bunch recorded.

I’m making Slow Cooker Coconut Curry Beef Stew for dinner along with some Jasmine rice. I knew it had to do an 8-10 hour session in the Crock Pot so I got it all prepped yesterday afternoon except for pouring the sauce over it, put it in the fridge and this morning I put the sauce in and turned it on. It smells so good in here!
