June 18th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

The sky is hazy but should clear up as the day progresses with the high of 79 and the low of 56. It will be another lovely day.

I am making roasted chicken, dressing, gravy, a salad made from lettuce from the garden, radishes from the garden in the salad and watermelon.

What will be your Sunday dinner?

High 78° been pulling weeds and watering the garden. It seems a bit more humid but not bad.
Made ramen salad last night and we'll have cheese burgers. Joe will have mushrooms & swiss on his. Heading to the kitchen to make citrus (orange) mini cakes. Easy and yummy.

I haven’t given much thought yet to dinner but Enchiladas sound good so I may fix a small meal.

Another cool day but that's to be expected... it's Winter here. I finished off the cooking I was doing, our clothes are all washed ready for our trip next week to Immy's birthdays party in Melbourne. The last load in my washing machine consists of bears, a rabbit and Olaf from Frozen. Build-a-Bears wash beautifully without any effort.

Our dinner tonight: John had leftover crumbed chicken wings with baked potato, onion, peas and carrots; I had my 'orange' soup which I enjoyed very much.

The boys came over to move my dog crate to the basement. Its a heavy steel one that needed tools to take apart and I don't dare go in hubs tool box because its like him going in my purse. Anyways its done so my living room looks like a living room now. I made cheeseburgers for their help, good trade off. Dinned will just be sandwiches or grilled cheese.

I got a Tineco mop vac and gave it a workout today. I went through so many reviews and they all praised it for not getting stinky like others. Once I get all my grout clean it should keep it that way since it also has a steam feature. I like the self clean feature and am pretty impressed so far. I am ready for bed already and its not even 4 pm.

It’s a nice day today, kind of cool and cloudy but quite pleasant. Not really much going on today at all. Abby is doing really well, the wound is healing nicely and she’s been taking her meds with no problem.

I’m going to make a little buffet of bits of of leftovers tonight; the last piece of asparagus Gruyere tart, some ham loaf and some fruit. I need to make some room in the fridge!
