    Good Morning!

Let's start the day off with a cheerful reminder that in 6 months it will be Christmas!! Jingle Bells, Candy Canes, Santa and frosty cold noses and SNOW!!!

It will be a HHH day with the high of 89 and the low of 65 and a 40% of rain.

Pea salad, grilled chicken and watermelon will be dinner.

    What will you be having?
Heritic, rebel, a thing to flount,
He drew a circle that shut me out.
But love and I had the wit to win,
We drew a circle that took him in.

Pea salad sounds good. That was a favorite side for my husband.

I don’t have a clue yet for my dinner. I suspect it will be half and egg salad sandwich and perhaps a cup of soup. My appetite is shot. On second thought I think I will fix fajita’s for dinner.

    enjoy your day.

The boys came over today to put up a gazebo for us. I figured the more the merrier and my MIL and all the grandkids and daughter came. Grilled out hot dogs and hamburgers. Smoked a pot roast. A cheap box of suddenly salad macaroni salad which they happened to love, that was a shocker. Potato salad and a big green salad. I am tired, the gazebo is up, the dishes done and ready for a nap. The dog is exhausted after playing with the kids so that is a plus.

muzette, Suddenly Salad pasta salads are actually pretty darn good. I always add chopped black olives and chopped celery, and sometimes I add dill relish, chopped salami or pepperoni and some chopped red onion.

It’s been a beautiful summer day today. The car club we used to be in had their annual car show in downtown Stanwood today, I went down there for a little while to check it out. Lots of shiny toys out there! Not much else happening.

I’m going to make a couple of carne asada street tacos for myself and have some refried beans with them.
