Water Chestnuts

I have 6 cans of whole water chestnuts in my pantry. Any ideas other than wrapping in bacon?

Spinach Dip, Hot spinach / artichoke dip, egg salad , chicken salad, stir fry.

Chopped up in chicken salad or tuna salad, chopped up in various casseroles, tossed into green salads, stir fry dishes.

I bought some for a moo goo gai pan recipe. I didn't care for them at all. I found myself in the same boat with a couple of extra cans. Next family potluck, I wrapped them in bacon, marinated in teriyaki sauce overnight and baked until the bacon was crisp. They went very quickly!

I love them sliced. Put in stir frys. There is a spinach dip calls for them diced. I can not stay out of it. Soooo good.

I use them in chop suey sliced up and we love them.
