June 27th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It is raining and will be off and on today with the high of 72 and the low of 60.


I pulled a package of pre-cooked hamburger from the freezer and will make hamburger gravy over mashed potatoes, pickled beets, peas and fruit.

What will you be having this evening?

Gloomy, gray 64. High 72. Under an extreme air quality alert from fires in Canada. Most of indiana and Illinois.
Just put together a breakfast casserole.

Grilling some steaks and corn on the cob. Also making some egg salad so I can use up some of the water chestnuts. The hot tub came today and the electrician comes Sunday, I am ready for it!

It’s a very pretty day, highs in the low 70’s and sunny. I did a big Walmart run today, I especially needed dog and cat food, dog treats and cat litter. The store I go to regularly is being remodeled and it took me twice as long to find all the things on my list, really annoying! They’ve moved all the toiletries to the complete opposite end of the store, down past automotive and almost to the garden center. Grrrrrr! Oh well, just about the time I get used to the new layout they’ll chance it again.

I’ve got a small amount of carne asada meat left to cook and I’m going to have that and a green chile and cheese tamale and the rest of the refried beans for dinner.
