August 5th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It is still hazy out there but the sun is doing its best to shine through it. The high will be 79 and the low of 63 with the humidity lower today.

I have some beautiful tomatoes and so many cherry tomatoes that I picked last night so I gifted some next door and she was so happy getting them. She loves them but no one else in her family does so she in in tomato heaven right now.

As for me and my house it will be BLTs for dinner along with some very big seedless blackberries, blueberries and strawberries for a fruit salad. I have never seen seedless blackberries before, and they are really very good.

What will you be having for your dinner this evening?

We went to Doll club today. They held an auction to aid the charity we support and I bought two bears and a doll. I didn't really want the doll but fancied the clothes it was wearing.

For dinner tonight, John had the remaining three lamb loin chops with potato, onion and peas. I had some spiral pasta with bolognaise sauce.

What an abrupt weather change today! It’s gray and cloudy today and according to weather reports there’s supposed to be thunderstorms. All I know is my sinuses are not too happy with this quick turnaround, they’re pounding right now. I’m just relaxing and trying to get the headache to go away.

I’m happy to have leftover chicken and zucchini stir fry and I took a serving of baked brown rice out of the freezer to have with it.

My daughter and son-in-law had a big gathering today on their patio and pool. He even had ice delivered to cool down the pool. Hot weather. My Grandaughters had a great time.
