August 6th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It is hazy and overcast with chances of rain off and on today with the high of 83 and the low of 68. Humidity is on the rise.

Dinner will be BLTs again tonight as the tomatoes are just so good and with the bacon and garden lettuce added in you can't go wrong. Peach cobbler will also grace the table.

What will you be having for your Sunday night dinner?

I'm sick again... That means I can't sit with Hannah and have had to cancel my medical appointments this week. It feels like the RSV virus that I had recently which took three weeks recovery. John has a full body xray booked for tomorrow at a hospital in the centre of Adelaide and I'll go with him to navigate but stay in the car.

Dinner tonight was crunchy chicken cooked in the airfryer... John had his usual vegetables and I airfried the leftover chips from a couple of days ago.

Chayote - So sorry to hear you are sick again. Hope this doesn't interfere with your upcoming surgery. Good idea about staying in the car while John is getting his X-rays.
Dinner here was leftovers for me, Korean noodles with vegetables and beef. It was carry -out from two days ago and one order is so large that it makes two or three meals for me. Husband had twice baked potato (half) and salmon which I don't eat.

Chayote I’m so sorry you’re sick again, I hope you recover quickly.

It’s a cloudy, warm and kind of humid day today, still haven’t seen any of the rain that was expected. I’ve just been doing some general tidying, next week I’ll do some pre-travel laundry, packing and cleaning. I’m only going to be away for a few days but I really like having everything squeaky clean when I come home.

I took one of the smoked Cornish hens out of the freezer and I’m going to have baked sweet potato and steamed zucchini with it.
