August 11th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It is a beautiful blue sky with white puffy clouds and no haze this morning. The rain we got last night must have pushed the haze back and watered my flowers and gardens. The high will be 82 and the low of 66.

I baked 3# of bacon last night and froze most of it and will use some for BLTS tonight as I have picked tomatoes that are bigger than the palm and covering the fingers of my hand. They are just beautiful, and I have several more about ready for picking. I have a nice size bowl of cherry tomatoes also that are just so good. I have bacon ready for whenever I want another sandwich as I could eat 1, 2 well, maybe several a day as it is one of my favorite summer meals. I have bread started for the sandwiches as homemade bread just takes them over the top.

What will be delicious meal on this Friday?

I have a steak to grill this evening and will probably add a salad or baked potato. My appetite is poor at best.

Absolutely perfect weather day today, but starting early next week it’s really going to warm up. Swell. I’ve got a lot to do before Friday morning so I’ll probably need to run a lot of AC. I did a quick ATM run this afternoon, just one less thing to do next week.

I’m going to make sort of a caprese chicken sandwich for dinner. I’ve got some Campari tomatoes I need to use and I need to use some of the basil growing in my Aero Garden.
