July 13th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

The rain that was predicted for yesterday afternoon came in the form of a steady downpour for about 1 1/2 hours even when the sun was shining and the white puffy clouds were looking down watching the scenario with the added touch of a big, beautiful rainbow spanning the sky. It is again a sunny sky, with the marshmallow clouds with a high of 80 and the low of 65. More rain is predicted for later this evening.

Hamburgers with thick slicked tomatoes on them, potato salad, baked beans and blackberries will be on the table for dinner.

July ? How about August 13th Dinner Post. Not that it really matters, hardly anybody is posting on this thread anymore anyway.

It’s clear and breezy today but not cool at all. I’ll be very surprised if we don’t get some fires going today, it’s so dry up here. I’ve just been doing house stuff today and some reading. The book I’m reading for book club next month is The Golem and The Jinni by Helene Wecker and I’m pleasantly surprised how good it is! It’s good enough that I’ve also gotten the sequel to it to read later. I’ll probably finish this one tonight and I’ll get started on October’s book club selection. Not much else going on, even the fur beasts are crashed out.

I’m going to have the rest of the skillet sausage and white beans with spinach for dinner.
