I am doing another neighborhood get together on September 24th called "Dog Days of Summer" so naturally there will be hot dogs on the grill. I was lucky to find foot long hot dogs at Wegmans plus I will do regular hot dogs and bratwurst in beer with onions and sauerkraut. One of the side dishes I decided to make was the Dunkley Macaroni Salad. When I pulled my copy out to start making a grocery list, I noticed that YOU posted the recipe here back in December of 2002. I thank you for a very taste salad although it has a lot of ingredients, I will make it for a group as one recipe makes far too much for just my husband and me. It has been a while since I have made it, but I marked it down as a keeper so thank you.

Wow, I hadn’t realized it had been that long ago! I love that salad but I haven’t made it for years because you can feed an army with it and STILL have leftovers. I tried a half recipe, still too much. I do incorporate some of the ingredients when I make pasta salad now. Our friend Bean still makes it too. I hope everyone at your gathering loves it!
