I had this at a party not too long ago. The person that brougt it brought 2. Set one at each end of the appetizer table, and pretty soon we could see why. Both ends of the table were full of people, and some people didn't even get to try it. I made it for a party, and the same thing happened. Try it next time you have to bring something, and make sure you copy a bunch of the recipes to hand out. Incidentally, the reason I thought to post, was it showed up in Kraft's Food and Family Magazine.

    BBQ Bacon Party Spread

    2 pkg (8 oz)cream cheese
1/2 cup Kraft Thick & Spicy BBQ Sauce
1 pkg (2.8 oz) Oscar Meyer Real Bacon Recipe Pieces
    1 small tomato, chopped
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper
    1/3 cup sliced green onions
1-1/2 cups Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Bring cream cheese to room temperature and spread on large platter. Drizzle with BBQ Sauce. Top with remaining ingredients.

Serve with Triscuit Thin Chips (We used Scoops instead)

Makes 35 servings, 2 t bst spread and 11 crackers each.

Substitutions: If you don't have bacon pieces at home, you can substitute:

1 (12 oz)pkg Oscar Meyer Center Cut Bacon, cooked and crumbled
    or
1 pkg Oscar Meyer Ready to Serve Bacon, cut into pieces
    or
1 pkg (3.0 oz)Oscar Meyer Read Bacon Bits.
